2012 State Festival Registration

Everything you will need to Register for Festival 2012 is online.  You will register your school, your students, your chaperones, and the events your students will enter right on the web. Once you have completed this process, you will press the button on the form submit it and print your invoice. You will be able to access this form and make changes until January 17, 2012. (NOW OPEN THURSDAY AND FRIDAY FOR UPDATING)  It will be unavailable to you after that date. Other forms you will need to complete on the web, just complete, print, and send with your payment to Florida State Thespians.  Online registration will end on January 17, 2012. Your payment and all other forms MUST in Mr. Hawkins' hands on or before Friday, January 20, 2012. The address is:

DUE TO THE UNPREDICTABLITY OF THE US MAIL, WE ARE NO LONGER USING POSTMARKS AS THE WAY TO DETERMINE DEADLINES FOR RECEIVING YOUR REGISTRATION MATERIALS.  You will need to send your registration materials by a carrier that GUARANTEES DELIVERY WITHIN THE REGISTRATION WINDOW.  Likely you will need to use Federal Express, UPS Red Label, or US Postal Express Mail. 

For 2012, your complete registration packet must be RECEIVED no sooner than January 9 and IN MR. HAWKINS' HANDS no later than January 20, 2012.  If a registration packet arrives outside this window, it will be returned to you. Please contact Mr. Hawkins if you are anticiaption of a delay.

PLEASE READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY.

To complete the forms below you MUST have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat on your computer. This is a FREE program - - click here for the FREE reader.  If your computer at school does not allow you to install programs, you will need to complete this registration on a personal computer.  Once you have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer, simply click on each document below; type in the blanks; and click the print button.  If you make any mistake you can obviously open a brand new blank copy of the form and begin again.

The following form is required by every troupe to register and will be available on line between December 29, 2011 and January 17, 2012 (EXTENDED TO THURSDAY AND FRIDAY FOR UPDATING: (Your payment form will be generated when you finalize the following form.) This link will take you to the directions for completing the registration process. On those directions you will find another link to the actual registration website. Please print the directions before you go to the site. They will help you through this process.

OTHER REQUIRED FORMS

Signature Form (REQUIRED) Download, print, sign, and return with the rest of your documents. 

Mainstage Ticketing Preference Form (Required if you want to attend any ticketed events) Download the form, fill it out on your computer, print it, and return it with the rest of your documents. For more information about Mainstage choices, you will click here after the Mainstage Meeting.  
Health Form (REQUIRED) This form is not to be completed at your computer.  Simply print it out, cut it into its 3 parts, and hand it out to your students.  Finally collect these forms and return them with your documents.

OPTIONAL FORMS

The following form is needed to apply for the College Audition Program for Juniors or the College Scholarship Program for Seniors.  Be sure to read the rules and guidelines about Scholarship Auditions.  click here for all the rules regarding the scholarship program.

Scholarship/Audition Form (Click to open it, type right on it, print it, sign it, and include it in your registration packet.)

The following Day Pass form is optional: (Please read the rules about Day Passes.)

Day Pass Order Form Download this form, fill it out on your computer, print it, and return it with the rest of your documents.

If members of your troupe have been honored by being your District's entry for our Opening Ceremony's Showcase or your troupe has been selected to represent your district at our One Act Festival, you must also include those forms with your registration material.  

The following forms are optional: Open the ones you are interested in, save them to your desktop, fill them out, and return them by post with your registration material.

Print those documents you wish to use, complete them, and return with your registration material.

  1. Administrator of the Year Award .
  2. Lifetime Service Award
  3. Theatre Etiquette Video 
  4. Program Advertising  
  5. "So you want to be on stage crew" back stage tour of Morsani Theatre.

Payment Form / Invoice - This is a copy of the final Payment Form / Invoice.  DO NOT mail this copy for registration.  This is simply a tool for the troupe director to use for predicting final registration fees due.  You will print the Official Payment form / Invoice for your troupe that appears at the end of the online registration system.  Again, DO NOT send this form in, it is only to used as a tool to help you.

The following THREE documents are guidelines for sponsors, chaperones and students.  They are for your information only.  Please READ them and share them with those attending the festival with your Troupe. Nothing in these documents needs to be returned:
